So it’s been, ummm, a really long time since I’ve posted.  Back when we were in the midst of reno-ing I’d resolved to be much more regualr with my blogging.  It didn’t last long…but hopefully I’ll be better now.  There’s always a chance.

I kept meaning to post completed pics of the store, then grand opening pics, then I got pics emailed to me by the lovely Angie, then I wanted to post pics of the retreat, but I forgot my camera, then I rearranged everything.  Those of you who’ve known me awhile, like say 10 minutes or so will know I have a tendency to do that a lot.

In other news gearing up for Christmas there is going to be a yarn tasting and sale on Sunday November 15 from 1-5 pm.

Yes I said Sunday.  We’re still closed on Sundays which is actually why this will be a sunday event.  It’s an excusive sale, you have to pre-register.  There are only 20 spots!

It’s an event, and has a small fee, but here’s what you’ll get for your $10…

• A goodie bag with sample skeins of 20-30 different yarns (I haven’t decided on all of them yet but will let you know) valued between $30 and $50 (again I’ll know this number better once I’ve finished picking all the yarns
• Every yarn in the tasting will be on sale for the one day of the event only at 20% off
• Everything else in the store will be on for 5% off, even clearance priced items will knock off an additional 5%
• I will be having a magazine back issue sale that day too, buy any 2 mags get 20% off
• I am hoping to have sample garments or swatches knit from most of the tasting yarns ready for the event
• every person who makes a purchase over $50 will also be entered to win a gift basket
• and of course there’ll be refreshments too
